A EllerslieTown Centre, Main Highway, adjacent to the Southern Motorway
Q What does it cost?
A It’s FREE for everyone
Q What happens?
A More than 40 fairies, pixies and wizards will sprinkle fairy dust, do glitter face painting, give out wishing stones and share magical stories and songs
Q What age is it suitable for?
A The very young and young at heart – bring the whole family
Q What is the difference between this and other events?
A It is an all free, non commercial event with every child receiving an enchanted gift
Q Shall I bring my camera and will I be able to get photos with my favourite fairy?
A Yes, bring your own camera for special photos. There is no commercial photography at the event
Q How do I get there?
A From south - Southern Motorway exit Ellerslie Penrose. From north- Southern Motorway exit Tecoma Street; From east- Main Highway via Ellerslie Panmure Highway; From west-Main Highway via Campbell Road
Q Is the main street closed off?
A For one and half hours Ellerslie’s main street is closed to traffic and parking to accommodate several thousand enchanted children and their families
Q How easy is it to park?
A There is limited parking available in the Arthur Street and Robert Street public carparks and in surrounding streets.
Q Is there easy public transport?
A Yes, you can easily get to Ellerslie by train or bus

Q What if it’s bad weather?
A For the past eight years it’s been blessed with good weather. In the unlikely event of high winds preventing a marquee being erected the event is cancelled.
